2025 Members’ Special Interest Meeting

As we have done in previous years we set aside a meeting each winter for members to make a short presentation on one of their Special Interests or Research projects. Following are the speakers confirmed so far:

– Robert Young plans to provide an update on his S.S. #6 Clark School research

– David Sherlock will speak about the E.L. Crossley Music Archives and growing up on a former Fox Fur Farm

– Graham Segger will submit a video discussing the origins of the PNYX yearbook and the digital collection of articles sponsored by PHS

– Wayne Olson will talk about Craftsman Houses

– Margaret Rice will discuss an old hand-rung school bell that is being donated to the Society, and

– Carolyn Botari will talk about a ‘tiny metal heart found in a wall during renovations.’

Any other members wishing to speak are encouraged to contact Robert Young.

The presentations will be made upstairs in the nave of Kirk on the Hill Presbyterian Church.
